Alan Smithee

I'm sure it'll be another Tank Girl/Barb Wire/Catwoman/Elektra fiasco.

Sendich

Yeah, it could end up as the next Catwoman...

Hey, don't be knocking Tank Girl.  That is an Avant Garde, bad movie masterpiece!! :-p

>>Could you kindly remind me at what point I said you were cut off from society?<<

oh and Menard, I didn't mean to imply that you said we were cut off, I was just goofing around in mock pain about the lack of good tv here [I have to live with 5 major channels and one crappy one!]

Aeon Flux, the movie, will be interesting to see how they take the direction, but with a critically acclaimed actress headlining it [one who apparently now has a 'no stunts' clause in her contract because of this movie] I doubt we will be seeing exactly what we want to see.  But here's hoping that Charlize maintains her credibility in choosing parts lately and chose this role because of a great fantastic script rather than a big fat pay check [like Halle Berry seemed to do with Catwoman]

But I have to say, with the lineup of movies in the making, I am both excited and afraid of the movies that we will be seeing in the next couple of years.

New Batman
Ghostrider
War of the Worlds
Aeon Flux
Star Wars III
and god knows how many I have forgotten in all the hype, and all the sequels and remakes, and Asian horror adaptations that will come our way.

It's going to be a busy 24 months!

Its about the same here. We have six channels of varying quality, and content. One of those channels literally has maybe 6 hours of regular programming, the other 18 hours is infomercials and overnight religious programs.
