Scream (no, not that one)

I have finally found a movie to rival "Pigs."  80s flick called Scream.  Bunch of old people (plus the requisite fat guy who everybody makes fun of) go camping in an old ghost town.  People start getting murdered and inexplicably wander around alone just so they can be next. Camera and cutting is so slow and pointless that I wasn't sure if I was just watching a slide show where you linger on every out of focus shot of your annoying uncle's "cabin in progress." So low budget that none of the deaths are shown.  Woody Strode, the old classic western actor, for some reason wanders in, says nothing and leaves.  Then he comes back at the end and shoots whoever is murdering everyone.  It does not show who is murdering everyone.  The end.

Wha the fu?

Um....skull?

Squishy

Wow. Must have.

You wanna see death in your bad movies? Try to find Night of the Demon--not the retitling of Curse of the Demon, or MST3K classic Touch of Satan, but a 1980 "Bigfoot-as-Jason" epic (sarcasm) full of shots of victims going into shock as they die. Lowlight: Bigfoot grabs two overaged girl scouts--waving around the cutlery they're selling door-to-door (hah)--by the arms and forces them to slash each other to death. Wheeee.

What kind of sick f*** lingers the camera on the victim as their eyes roll up and they start to twitch--over and over again? That's not "horror"--that's whacking material for sociopaths. This isn't a "skull"--it's a tumorous rectum. Thankfully, the director and writer never made another movie. Maybe they were walking through the woods one day, holding knives...

Oh God, I have that movie!  Some guy gave it to me but it was too awful to finish, and I never tried to sell it or trade it for fear of cursing someone.  Ick.  Though I swear, not as bad as this Scream.
