THE NOTORIOUS CONCUBINES (1969) - Surprising film from Japan about a married woman who likes her brother in-law, but he leaves to avoid the shame. The same lady becomes a concubine to a feudal lord after poisoning her husband. The story is a little confusing with the man hanging from a tree then the end with all those dead buried with only their hands and forearms sticking up from the ground. The battle scenes were a little weak, but it's really not the point of the film anyway. The extras on the Something Weird Video are vintage material from Japan that is worth a look.
