This movie stars Ben Chaplin as boring bank teller John, who lives  in a small English town. John is lonely, so he orders himself a Russian  bride off the internet . Nadia (Nicole Kidman) soon wins him over in the sack, but when her 'cousins' show up on her birthday John's life changes in ways he could never have imagined,

Playing Nadia is quiet a different role for Kidman, and she really pulls it off,

I saw it a year or so ago and was just reminded of it last night when watching Jack's Back.   Birthday Girl is next  Friday's feature on IFC's Pulp Cinema.  That;s March  25 at  10:00 Central.

If you get IFC give it a watch, I think you'll like it . You could see it as a cautionary tale.
