I seem to remember seeing a movie fairly recently where somone says something to the effect of "He who bows his head runs the risk of losing it" before commencing with a long ass-kicking scene. Come to think of it, it might have been a TV episode. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Joshua Pettigrew

There was an MST3K episode(#813, Season 8) with the movie "Jack Frost." It was one of those Russo-Finnish productions. The main character was Ivan Nushka(I'm not sure I'm spelling that right.) He's a thick-headed rascal with June Allyson hair.

In one scene, a toadstool headed dwarf gives Ivan a bow and some arrows(which barely work). In return, the dwarf asks that Ivan bow down to him and thank him. Ivan says something like "Whoever bows their head runs the risk of losing it. Ask the bear to bow if you like." I guess Ivan thought that was clever but the joke is on him. The dwarf exacts vengence in Russo-Finnish proportions by turning Ivan into a bear-ish sort of creature. And eventually Ivan bows down to the dwarf(Get it? Ivan is a bear...and he said for the dwarf to get the bear to bow if he wanted...so the bear did bow...and so did Ivan! GET IT!? HUH!? It's either ironic or stupid. {I vot stupid!}).

Hope this helps.

That's it! Thank you! Wow, I can't help but feel a little sheepish, having just given a bunch of info about that movie on this very board. Thanks again-- That's been bugging me for weeks!
