Anybody remember?

The year: 1978. Made for TV movie about a group of super-powered roaches taking over a small town. The roaches had strange powers that gave an electris shock to anybody who touched them. By the end of the movie they had evolved into giant flying roaches that were flying thru windows to attack people.
I have no idea what the name of this movie is. I was 6 years old when I watched it with my Mom in 1978.

Could that possibly be BUG (1975) which starred Bradford Dillman? An earthquake realeases strange firestarting cockroaches on an unsuspecting community.

Wow! I'm not sure but you have def helped my search! I'll research that. I remember a scene where a man catches one of the roaches and sticks a screwdriver into it's belly and all this junk explodes from it. It may also be in slow motion but not sure. Thanks for your help!

This is definitely BUG.  It was actually a theatrical release, not a made for TV movie.  It is available on DVD (in widescreen) for under $10.  I bought it and it is worth every penny.
