THE BRAIN MACHINE (1977) a.k.a. Grey Matter, Mind Warp, The E-Box, and Time Warp, but that dosn't matter. This movie is beyond bad. James Best plays one of the dumbest characters ever and I don't even know who the rest are. It's about this goverment experiment that brings up peoples past while sleeping in this building. I could hardly keep my mind on this film. Pure torture from beginning to end.

PREHISTORIC WOMEN (1950) - This is as bad as WILD WOMEN OF WONGO. The film mostly done by narration. Just plain bad bad bad. Did I mention that this film is not worth your time? Forget I mentioned this one. Ugh !

Both films are part of my 50 Sci-Fi Movie Pack that I picked up last year. Really scrapping the bottom here. Don't purchase, rent, or view at all cost.

I have that 50 movie pack as well, but have yet to work my way through most of it. Maybe I'm better off skipping those two.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Yep, those two are duds.

Some of the other duds from the Sci-Fi set are:

Incredible Petrified World
Queen of the Amazons
She Gods of Shark Reef
King of Kong Island
Wild Women of Wongo

The films I still haven't seen yet are:

Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet of Women
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Crash of the Moons
Menace From Outer Space
Hercules and the Captive Women
Lost Jungle
Laser Mission
Astral Factor
The Galaxy Invader
The Phantom Planet
Planet Outlaws
Destroy All Planets

So, I still have a way to go. The rest of the films not mentioned are worth a look and some are quite good. The transfer quality is weak on many of the movies.

A film whose main plot outlines are done via narration?  Classy :-P

Good thing I kept my head when I saw this on sale for CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP.

Now we know why, although alot of those titles for these movies are very promising.

I haven't watched The Brain Machine, but I'll agree with your assessment of Prehistoric Women. I started it but couldn't finish it; I got so bored I turned it off. I must, however, defend the honor of Wild Women of Wongo. It is a very bad movie, but it was entertaining to me. It did try to be too cute at times, and the overall message of "pretty people can only fall for pretty people, and ugly people can only be happy with ugly people" is wretched, but the sight of white women who have apparently never even watched a documentary on tribal dances trying to dance like Africans was simply too funny to pass up.

"They tap dance not, neither do they fart." --Greensleeves, on the Fig Men of the Imagination, in "Twice Upon a Time."
