I own The Boogens on VHS.  I bought it several years ago.
I had to special order it from, yes, Blockbuster.
The front of the box even has a recommendation from Stephen King that says, "I recommend The Boogens cheerfully & heartily!"

Apparently, it's pretty hard to track down and I'm still waiting for it to be released on DVD.

It's actually a decent film!
The creatures are wisely kept out of sight until the end of the movie.
The only bad thing is how they look....you'll definitely get a laugh.

Big prehistoric turtles with tentacles.

Yea, I gave it a little review the other day. Only thought it was so-so. Really liked when they finally offed the stupid poodle, although I have to admit it was a well trained dog.

I was under the impression for years it was some stupid slasher movies but I was wrong. Have my vcr set to record it at 4 AM.
