For those of you within the NYC listening radius, or those that like hard rock, this will make sense, otherwise.

WSOU has been playing Hard Rock for 15 years now. There is only 1 station that actually plays Rock in NYC and it only stays alive because of Howard Stern. I love Hard Rock and Love WSOU. But lately I've been listening and its had an "odd" to say the lease combination of music mixed in with the normal Hard Rock. So now I go onto their website and find out that they've changed F'EN Formats to "Modern Electic Rock" which basically makes it a commercial station format for a non-commercial station. They play everything from Southern Country music to Hard Rock now, and it's the most painfull format I've ever heard. I can't stand it, and theres no other stations to listen to during the day.

There's always XM or web radio . I live far from somewhere and all I listen to is SW and AM stations and maybe a web station but I hear XM is the way to go .
