Judging by that Stubbs the Zombie post, I figure at least some of you would get a kick out of this.

The zombie head is a Christmas present for my little brother.  What I'm going to do is wrap the head up in a box with no explanation and leave it for him under the Christmas tree.  It's going to be hilarious (and my little brother is the type to appreciate that sort of thing).

In the meantime, I think it spruces up the old Gamecube quite nicely.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

That thing is hideous!
Its mouth is especially nasty.

Where did you get it?

That's a great gift Mofo, the kind of stuff I wish I would see under the tree Christmas day.

Also, it's good to see the GameCube gettin some love.  I was beginning to think that I am the only person on the planet to own one.

I picked it up from FrightCatalog.com.  The actual head doesn't look as good as the picture.  In fact, it's kind of squishy.  Ah well, nothing too good for my little brother.

I've always liked the GameCube.  Too bad games for it are getting fewer and farther between.  Still, when it's good, it's really good (ie. RE4).

Mofo,

Yep, RE4 is pretty awesome.  I rented it a while back, but never got a chance to finish it.  I'll probably pick it up on the cheap sometime soon.  It was by far the best RE game I've ever played.

I just took a closer look at the photo.  You also own Tales Of Symphonia?  That's one of the best GC games, that only a few people here in the states have played.  Sadly, the same could be said about Eternal Darkness.

I own a Gamecube also but Its collecting dust. Skaboi I have RE4, Tales of Symphiona and Eternal Darkness. Pretty good games. It just that Gamecube does not have the appeal of PS2 or X-Box for that matter that alot people don't buy it. Just old Ninentdo nuts that love Zelda and Mario.

Well, that's certainly the perception, if not the truth.  The problem with Nintendo is that they do nothing to court third-party developers, which these days make and break systems.  Nintendo owned titles are some of the best games around (Zelda, Metroid, etc.), but they are few and far between.

Have you seen the controller for the Nintendo Revolution?  Innovative as it may be, it's a big "f@#& you" to third-party developers.

They had roped one developer, Capcom, into an exclusivity deal, but bungled it by failing to expand their user base, which is why RE4 is now on PS2.  Hell, RE5 isn't coming out on a Nintendo system at all.

I like Nintendo.  I like their philososphy of gameplay.  But they need to fix their "just for kids" PR and make themselves more accessible to third-parties.  Good will can only take a company so far.  Look what happened to Sega.  (Dreamcast, another great system that died a slow agonizing death.)

Yeah, Tales of Symphonia is pretty good.  Not one of my favorites, though.  I could never really get behind the fighting system.  Didn't stop me from spending over 60 hours beating the damn thing.  One of the few games in recent history I've played through to completion.

Eternal Darkness is a great game.  I loved the sanity effects.  Too bad it didn't make enough to warrant a sequel.  Damn you, Nintendo!  You blew it up!  Damn you all to hell!

Oddly enough, I haven't beaten Eternal Darkness and RE4, which I love, but I have beaten ToS, which I don't.  I think it's because action games take a lot of effort, whereas RPG's take almost no effort at all, just time.

I love the new Nintendo controller.

Imagine playing a FPS with that thing - awesome.

Your right their Mofo. I like Nintento too but they just lack that third party support and really aren't winning people over either. I remember them saying they they weren't going online with Revoultion but finally gave in and are going online with their next system. With Sony and Microsoft already ahead in the online dept. It seemed like a waste for them not to go online.

As for the control on Revoultion I like innvoation as much as the next person but whats innvoation when you don't have games? Like you pointed out it does seem like a big F you to Third parties. They really need to get out of that niche of theirs.
