Since this movie is apparently one of Andrew's favorites, I've been waiting for him to review it. In the meantime, here's my take:

Weng Weng plays Secret Agent 00 of the Secret Agency. Mr. Giant (the villain) has captured the noted scientist Dr. Van Kohler and is trying to force from him the secret of the N bomb. Agent 00 is called in to find the missing doctor. The head of the Secret Agency outfits 00 with some top secret gadgets like a hat that can fly by remote control and/or chop people's heads off (ala Dr. No), X-ray specs that can only see through cloth (rendering anyone looked at naked, but in a convenient pose so that nothing naughty is exposed), a mini-machine gun, and a pen that, well, does something, but just don't try to write with it (it's obvious the Secret Agency Head is just making stuff up as he goes, and a couple of times he just completely loses any concept of what a gadget is capable of. He even compliments 00 on his quietness and ability to pay attention several times since 00 is just sitting there, stone-faced and silent).

After setting off on the trail of Mr. Giant, 00 encounters several evil henchmen and fights, kicking most of them in the groin (hey, when you're 3 feet tall, head kicks just aren't going to happen). He seems to continually rescue women (he introduces himself saying "Hi! I'm Secret Agent 00!") who fall madly in love with him or try to kill him (it's a fine line). Mr. Giant's henchmen, sounding like Vic Tayback (Mel from Alice) with a cold, meet to discuss how to deal with Agent 00, the one-man army. The Secret Agency has managed to infiltrate the gang with an undercover agent, a woman who is I guess supposed to be a prostitute, but who actually just sits around and listens to the gang's plans and relays them to the Agency. The gang fails to notice that she hangs out with 00 a lot, especially on public streets and in restaurants. She is eventually found out and captured.

As 00 closes in on the gang (well, more like as the writers lose their ability to come up with any more gags or women for 00 to go through), we see 00 fly to Hidden Island, a large Island just off the coast of the main island that is easily accessible by a short (pun intended) jet-pack flight.

***SPOILER ALERT***

As 00 breaks into the gang's headquarters, he finally comes face to face with Mr. Giant, who is -- you guessed it -- another midget!!  HAHAHAHAHA!!! The "big" fight occurs, with 00 coming out on top, of course, and all ends happily with 00 getting the girl (the Phillipines' other secret agent).

***END SPOILERS***

The movie is hilarious. It's horribly written (ad-libbed, whatever), and Weng Weng is every bit as bad as you'd think he'd be. The bad guys are wonderfully stupid, and the dubbed voices only add to the fun. The DVD transfer looks good overall, but I think this is an edited version; there's no nudity or profanity at all, and there looks to be ample opportunities for both -- maybe Andrew can shed some light on that.

At any rate, this movie is LOTS of fun.

*** REPLY TO SPOILER ***

The Mr. Giant revelation sounds suspiciously familiar to a gag from the pilot episode of Get Smart, where the villain named Mr. Big is revealed to be a midget...
