I don't know why it's taken me my whole life to realize this, but is anyone else bothered by that fact that we're actually proud that we "Dropped the Ball"?

Oh man, that strikes me like a ton of hilarious bricks. I can't believe I also missed the fact that we "drop the ball" every year. Thanks to you Licerbus, I can already tell this is going to be a good year for sarcasm.

When I read "Ball Droppings," I thought of something a bit different...think very young male, and the phrase we used to use to depict someone, well, a little wet behind the ears or inexperienced.
