If anyone has the unrated and R-rated versions of this title, can you tell me what the differences and cut-scenes are? And if the latest DVD release (waxwork/waxwork II: lost in time) is really the R-rated version or if it was just rereated R?

Also, does anyone know of the scenes that wer cut from the sequel as well, I heard an entire sequence was left out

I have the double feature, which has the "R" version.  It is listed as a running time of 100 min.  I looked up the unrated version on Amazon.com and it has the same running time listed.

Well, that probably means I have the right version, anyone know the cuts?

Runtime: 95 min / 97 min (unrated version)

So something is different, I haven't seen it in years and I have no idea which version I saw.

I checked, and I can't be specific as to the difference, but I believe that the unrated version is more violently graphic then the R-rated version, because I have heard the violence  had to be edited down to get a R-rating.

Yeah, but it seems pretty minor, I hear mostly the vampire scene.

As I asked, what was cut from Waxwork 2?

I also own the Waxwork/Waxwork II DVD and I've read on some sites in which people have stated that the version on the DVD is in fact the unrated version.

I used to have the unrated cut on VHS but I lost it quite some time ago so there's no way for me to compare now though.

Fun little flick though!
