Hand in hologram covered in ants/melting. maybe rollerblades also

does anyone remember which film this is. i remember there was a kind of hologram machine that this man put his hand in and his hand then got covered in ants that were biting him or something or maybe his hand melted or both. but it was just a hologram and it didnt really hurt him.

also maybe there was rollerblades. a group of kids who all wore rollerblades and held hands and spun round in a cicle to throw each other across a perilous mountin cliff? and a kid may have also stuffed him self into an empty tyre and rolled down a hill. a sandy hill. maybe a desert or apocolyptic waste land??

i think this is all from the 1 movie but i might be wrong. if anyone remembers any of this it would be ace.
