Monster Movie I Should Know But I Don't

I know this will be an easy one for you folks but for some reason the title is slipping my mind.  The film has a werewolf in it whos constantly looking for someone to kill him when hes human.  I think he was part of a group of monsters (not sure if its the Monster Squad or not).  For some reason I remember the werewolf in a phone booth and saying "thank you" when someone finally capped him with a silver bullet.  It was a common 80s movie I think that I haven't seen in awhile.  Thanx all...

that could be Wolfen, there were people in that movie who were accidentaly being turned into werewolves. I only saw that movie once though, so I could be wrong
