Check out Best Buy for a possible mistake on SE DVD pricing this week.

I don't know if anyone knew, but last week, Best Buy had a cool selection of special edition DVD's on sale for buy one 19.99, get another one free.

Well, I went by the Best Buy near where I live in Roanoke, VA on Sunday and they had re-done the pricing on these in which the buy one get one free deal wasn't supposed to apply anymore, and they were now priced at 9.99 a piece which equals out to the same thing basically price wise.

I was going to get the 2 disc SE of "Heat" and the 2 disc SE of "V for Vendetta" for 9.99  a piece.

Imagine my surprise, when they rung them up a the register, that they STILL HAD THE BUY ONE GET ONE FREE DEAL INCORRECTLY IN THE REGISTER.  The guy said that it wasn't supposed to still be that way since they were now 9.99 a piece this week, but he went ahead and gave them both to me for only 9.99 buy one get one free. (plus tax.)

This morning (Monday), I was just curious to see if they had corrected their mistake and stopped by there again.

They hadn't!     The buy one get one free deal was still incorrectly in their system.

So, for only 40 dollars I went ahead got these DVD's brand new as I couldn't pass this mistake on their part up:

1)  Million Dollar Baby   (3 disc deluxe edition)
2)  Mystic River    (3 disc deluxe Edition)
3) The Lost Boys   (2 disc SE)
4) Bullitt     (2 disc SE)
5) Casablanca    (2 disc SE)
6) Constantine    (2 disc SE, yeah, I liked this movie  )
7) Batman    (1989 2 disc SE)
8) Batman Returns    (2 disc SE)

So, combined between Sunday and today, I got around 300 dollars of brand new SE DVD's for only 50 dollars!

I don't know if this system mistake is in place for all Best Buy stores nationwide or just the one in Roanoke, VA, but it would be worth checking out!

They also have the 2 disc SE's of Rebel without a Cause, Ghandi, Chariots of Fire and a few others.  I might swing by there again on Friday (pay day) and see if the buy one get one free thing is still incorrectly in their system.

Anyway, just a longwinded FYI!!
