I've got the 3-disc deluxe edition of Black Hawk Down.  I'm perfectly happy with that as I've heard that the footage put back into the extended cut was done without Ridley Scott's approval.

Money's been tight for me lately so I've been holding off buying any new DVD's, which isn't that much of an issue as I already have a little over 700.

There's still stuff I need to watch That I own already anyway, so I'll just wait until this fall when my money won't be as tied up.

Adam Wests only zombie movie!!

I lovw the old WIZARD boxes! Kinda like a 'mystery box"! They have odd ball boxes,no-name stars...and the titles are usually changed! Pretty exciting...like trying to guess what low budget horrors await inside...!!!! :buggedout:
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

IT FINALLY CAME!!!

"EEEEYOOP! EEEEYOOP! EEEEEEEEEEEEYOOP!" this 'Preylien" seems to say.

Appropriately, it came in a filthy, smelly envelope that was almost impossible to open.

The DVD case itself had a big red "USED" sticker on it and looked like somebody had stomped on it in a fit of uncontrolled rage... but unfortunately the DVDs inside were perfectly fine.  :hatred:
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

I love those VHS box and DVD covers. Cool stuff!

I got that about a month ago and didnt like it too much. The most enjoyable feature for me would have to be the Dinosaur Island one. I guess im not partial to movies shot on a digital camera.

I have also gotten:

Monstrosity is Out of Print and the cheapest you can get it is for 99 dollars!
and two more VHS tapes:

Look forward to seeing these

That's pretty funny, since that's probably more than the movie cost to make.

Surprise! It was the next to last film by the legendary Andy Milligan. By the early 80's he had moved to L.A. and made four more of his typically eye-cramping movies.  They're all possibly (if such a thing is possible) even worse than the movies he made on Staten Island in the '70s. One of these days I should really try to find a copy of THE WEIRDO (1989).

MONSTROSITY actually had a couple of "real" actors starring along side Milligan's usual gang of prostitutes, drug addicts, and street people. It also features his long-time (and perhaps only) friend Haal Borske as "Frankie". After a fairly gory beginning it appears Milligan completely switched gears and decided to attempt to make this a comedy instead, I guess to try and cash in on the 'teen buddy' comedy craze. Just like they added some rats (and changed the title) to THE RATS ARE COMING! THE WELEWOLVES ARE HERE! to try to ride the coattails of WILLARD. SPOILER ALERT! This one ends up very strangely, with 'Frankie' sitting on at a bus stop discussing the meaning of life with a real homeless woman.

Borske cotributed a hilarious commentary to the 'Something Weird' release of THE GHASTLY ONES. He composed the music for the DVD's photo album, too.
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

I got this double feature from Best Buy:

I bought this fine piece of Mexican cinema.

Ive been looking for this for years! Anyone who hasnt heard the Jerky Boys stuff, should really check into it. Sadly, the tape is a demo tape so that an annoying message in on the screen every 5 minutes.

Andrew

"The Brainiac" is a nutzo piece of cinema.  I am not certain what release that is that you posted the cover for, but I upgraded from an older release to the Casanegra one and the new DVD is ten times better in terms of quality.

I got the Front Row Entertainment release only because I have been meaning to see it and it was only 2 dollars. I plan on getting the Casanegra release soon.
