Blew the $50 my grandparents sent me for my birthday on two DVDs at Best Buy: the new Darkman Trilogy set and the Anchor Bay Re-Animator release. Y'know, the one with a pen shaped like a syringe? I already have the Millennium Edition, but the box art for this release, plus the promise of the pen shaped like a syringe, was just too much.

They didn't have Danger: Diabolik in stock, and I've been wanting to see the un-MSTed version for a while now, but luckily, they were able to order it for me.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I know Wal*Mart is evil, but I can't resist the draw of cheap DVDs. As such, while visiting family out in the beloved boonies of my birth, I picked up a sveldt 11 movies for a little over $50.

"Don't make me stain my last clean shirt with the back of your head." - Shatter Dead
"A grizzly bear with a chainsaw. Now THERE's a killing machine!" - The Simpsons
"I've always wanted to make love to an angry welder." - Jaws: the Revenge

High Tension

Great flick.  A lot of people that I know can't stand it but I thought that it was very well done horror movie in every respect.

Ordered Satan's Playground dirt cheap online.  I know what everyone's thinking, but bear in mind that I liked Horror.

Was this the special edition released by Troma?  For a supposedly "digitally remastered" edition, the print used is in really awful shape in places.

Yes.  I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but the quality must be better than the old, used VHS I currently own.
