I bought the VHS copies of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Wild Wild West.  Interesting enough, I think the copy of Roger Rabbit might be the original one that wasn't censored.  I'll have to the movie closely, but it could be possible.

It has been a while (Most likely 9 or 10 years) since I have seen Wild Wild West.  I liked it when I was younger, I wonder if it has aged well?

Librarian : Quest for the Spear.

  It's a b-movie from TBS but it's actually pretty good! Noah Wylie is a super smart slacker type who is recruited to work in a special Library that houses all the lost artifacts from legend and myth. His boss is Bob Newhart. It's light and reasonably family friendly but still manages to be fun. Plus, as a librarian-to-be, I gotta like this. There are 2 other movies in the series, and they usually feature ok action, some funny dialogue and situations, and at least one hot babe to co-star with Wylie. In this one he has to recover the Spear of Destiny, which as we all know, was th spear that was used to lance Christ's side at the crucifixon. It's also got Sonya Walger as a deadly secret agent who provides the muscle and a fight between Bob Newhart and a ninja. Sure it's old fashioned but if you're in the mood for it, it's good.

Picked up the 3 pack of the 4  BBC Narnia movies for a whopping 3 bucks at Cargo Largo.

That's a minor favorite of mine as well.  Like a sillier, lower budget Indiana Jones.  Darned DVD is kind of expensive though, otherwise it would be in my collection too

Seeing that it's finally come way down in price, I ordered Negadon on Amazon.

Impulse buy for $4 at the grocery store.  Only halfway decent movie they have there.



Only the copy I got has cool Cyrillic lettering and menus, but an English subtitle option.  A Russian friend of mine has been trying to get me to see all these Gothic horror movies and fantasy films that were made in the Soviet Union.  There do seem to be a large number of very intriguing titles, even though the Russians don't seem to recognize horror as a separate genre (too Western, I guess).
