Back in the 80's,I usta live in a trailer waaay out in the boonie next to Fish Lake called Melville's,in fact-old man Melville was my land lord.  Old man Melville also owned the bar across the road-which was a biker bar.
Anyway, one of my best freinds was this big Mexican guy-Johnny Rivas. Me and Johnny were shooting pool one night-and in the summer folks from Indiana usta come up and fish-this bar was next to a lake-which was named Fish lake (original, huh),and Some Hoosier punk kept asking us when we were gonna let him and his pals play the table. Well-we were real drunk-we had been shooting pool for 2 hours and having fun.
Johnny-in his infinite wisdom-said to this guy-"Are you a Hoosier?" (thats a slang word for folks from Indiana). The guy-big guy too-said yeah, what about it-Johnny said"Hoosier daddy?". I busted up laffing, the guy came at Johnny-and tried to grab his pool stick-Johnny punched him in the face. I hit his friend with my stick. We got kicked out for the night.

Anyway-this song was on the juke box-cause I had played it. It fit in perfect with what happened. It was karma.

Jackie (soundtrack to the upcoming movie) by Mica Levi

I felt kind of special that Fox sent me this CD until I learned they put it up on the web for free: http://www.foxsearchlight.com/fyc/film/jackie/soundtrack/. At least I got a slipcover. It's not bad, very dark and melancholy orchestral music. I might listen to it again. The same composer did UNDER THE SKIN, which I remember being really good.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...
