I used to download these for free every year, but they stopped offering them--I guess the kids don't listen to mp3s anymore. Stumbled across it on spotify, though. I haven't listened all the way througfh yet but the leadoff track is my favorite. Every genre of music is represented.

I have this album. I love it. I haven't  listened to it in years because all my record players are broken. And it's not on you tube Only this song. I can't find NY Sun version from this album ANYWHERE!
I just gotta break down and buy an old record player at the flea market or ebay.

Big Mama Thorton in 1970. Doing Ball and Chain. A song she wrote and performed in the early 50'sand made famous by Janis Joplin. Yeah, Janis did it better- but this is cool.

What a strange duo. Their early work was actually avant-garde with prepared pianos, but still in the easy listening genre. Then they went Liberace and sold a bunch of records. This is the Liberace stuff. It's pretty bad, except for the decent cover of "Midnight Cowboy."
