"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

Allhallowsday

I am now here, like Ozzymandias   (I wonder if he knows the Percy Shelley poem?)
BO DIDDLEY is a Gunslinger

OZYMANDIAS
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

Pilgermann

Steve Kilbey - Painkiller

I'm only on the 4th track but so far it's amazing and spacey.  Kilbey is the lead singer and bassist from The Church and this is his newest solo album.  You can hear two of the tracks and some other stuff he's done on his Myspace:

Menard

Finally got a copy of this on CD after having lost the album so many years ago:

The album is from 1970. This is the original Skid Row, not that glam band. A progressive blues-rock band from Ireland, and that really doesn't describe it well as there is quite a mix of styles on this. This was guitarist Gary Moore's first band, and their first album.

Skid... Cool.  Virtual Kamarder.  The original SKID ROW is largely forgotten, and certainly not those 80s idiots.

I'm listening to For Your Pleasure, ROXY MUSIC's most startling record, indicative of my mood these days I 'spose.  A dark unhappy record, that has moments of brilliance, including my favorite ROXY MUSIC song, "Beauty Queen" which could be described as the theme to the Black Dahlia murder...  This album also contains some of my least favorite ROXY

"Celtic punk."  I'll listen to any rock band that has a full-time bagpiper.
