Midnight Oil's Breathe.

I do wonder if I am the only person who loves this band?

Goove is in the Heart ...

I have World Clique loaded in my mp3 mix right now.

Time for more classics.

Jim Henson's rendition of "Time in a Bottle" is particularly poignant, looking back on how young he was when he died.  There never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do once you find them...

Karma dude.

I have the 25th Anniversary collection.  It's a cd with songs from The Muppet Show and the various muppet movies.  Also have a Sesame Street soundtrack.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand.  Pretty decent album.

Hot Fuss by The Killers.  I loved this album as well.  Hope to see more from them actually.

I Get Wet by Andrew W.K.  An album not for everyone.  I like it though.

Never Mind The Bollock by The Sex Pistols- Pretty classic album, by any means.  I'm more a Ramones fan, but really do appreciate the Pistols as well.

Rifles of the I.R.A. by The Wolfe Tones.

You'd think that a name like "The Wolfe Tones" should belong to a rockabilly band, but these Irish balladeers take their name from a 19th-century Irish nationalist.  A lot more like the Clancy Brothers or The Irish Rovers than the post-Chieftains, post-Enya celtic glut.

Saw Midnight Oil live at the Spectrum in Philadelphia...wish I could remember now who opened for them...or did they open for someone else?!!!

JASE, you need to trim your images after you grab them from Amazon... like the Amazon-grabbed image below of an album which I am listening to right now !!

TORGO, everyone loves SADE !!

Though they got quite a bit of press, CAPTAIN BEEFHEART and HIS MAGIC BAND was dropped by their label Buddha after their first album tanked.  I have to say that the Buddha Records' decades-buried outtake of "Safe As Milk" included as a bonus track on CAPTAIN BEEFHEART and HIS MAGIC BAND's  recently remastered release of the band's first album Safe As Milk (1967 is wonderful ~ ironically, the original Safe As Milk album did not include the title track!)  It is far superior to the "studio enhanced" crap on this record, the band's second album, released on Blue Thumb Records late in 1968, an  ill-received second album (long story, who cares but buffs?)    ...some very amusing parts ("Beatle Bones And Smokin' Stones" which alienated early supporter John Lennon and I can hear why...)  and some unique blues.  Now only available as an import.
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

Saw her live with an ex girlfriend on the Lovers Rock tour. A fantastic show.  She was in top form.  One of the most talented, beautiful and sensuous women to walk the earth.

Does anybody else discover a band and then systematically explore their albums?  I've been doing this for more than 35 years, my first love being ELTON JOHN, whom I have not listened to now in many, many years, only because I am always moving on, but now I'm exploring CAPTAIN BEEFHEART, but... at this moment:
