Academy Of St. Martin-in-the-fields Chamber Ensemble - DVORAK: String Sextet in A major / MARTINU: String Sextet / Serenada II

Sample: Finale from String Sextet in A major

AHD, you've inspired me to pull out my copy of Magical Mystery Tour and give it another whirl... sounds appealing right now, for some reason.  Thanks!

Torgo is an RBF fan?  I'd never have guessed it.

I'm an RBF fan from way back.  Everything after "Why Do They Rock So Hard?" was pitiful.  Saw them live about a year and a half ago down in Myrtle Beach.  It was a hell of a show.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

What?! The Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields does something other than Mozart?  Incredible!

I like their stuff though I wouldn't call myself a massive fan. I in fact forgot that I had this CD and brought it with me to work today to listen to.   I also used to have their CD where the cover was a girl pointing a gun at a dude or something.

A friend of mine is a massive fan of theirs and he has the same assessment of them that they went way downhill after this CD.

One of my favorite BEATLES albums because there are some of their best songs on it... it also inadvertently gave me my lyric to "sum up my life" right now for that thread in the off topic forum.

Now listening to BACH: Toccata & Fugue, Passacaglia & Fugue, Pastorale and Preludes & Fugues performed by E. POWER BIGGS
