Brigitte Bardot/Love Is My Profession/Une Parisienne/La Belle Bardot/Sacha Distel Sings

Not so much an album by Bardot as an album of music inspired by her, including 2 mini-soundtracks and tributes from other musicians.  Interesting.

Sample: Brigitte (Sacha Distel)
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

The Church - Forget Yourself -- I find it hard to pick faults with this album, and I do love it, but it's never been one of my favorite Church records.  It's something to do with the production that doesn't quite click with me.  It sounds very thick, and just like the cover, very red and black if that makes any sense.

Bernard Herrmann - The Great Hitchcock Movie Thrillers

Also picked up some cheap-o Robert Johnson compilation, and although it was less than a couple of dollars I feel like I should've just gotten the complete recordings set.

 S'bout time!!!    Last time, Happy, you're not so... friendly like. Can you believe it's been 50 years since we lost BUDDY HOLLY?  What a talented songwriter and recording artist, and nope I'm too young!!  But... BUDDY haunts all of our lives... those of us who love Rock n' Roll and always wonder (about every artist) what might have been?  With love, buddy:bluesad:

Thanks to our REV a record I really love: ANONYMOUS 4 The Origin of Fire:  Music of Hildegard von Bingen

Didn't know I was so 'unfriendly like', but yeah, I love Buddy Holly.  All my friends my age (mid 20s) all say the same thing when I say I like Buddy Holly: "I like that Weezer song too." :buggedout:
