THE BEATLES HELP!

The version of this album Britain got is different than the glop we got stateside; as a kid, I didn't like this album... until I heard the proper mix years later.  It's one of my favorite BEATLES albums.
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

Great ugly cover!

WTF?

Cool, ain't it? I love the giant joint the ape is holding. And a repeat of another one from producer Lee "Scratch" Perry:

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

"Shadows, no stars, there's no moon and no cars... November."

Listening again.  Remarkably musical, perfectly wretched.

"November's cold chain, made of wet boots and rain..."

Glad you like (?) it.

And once more (it's 3 discs):

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

This recent thrift store find:

The Who is one of those bands I've always wanted to dig deeper into, but have never quite gotten around to it (the only other album I own is Who's Next).

I figure, this 20 track (!) "Best of" should tide me over till I take time to further explore their catalog...
