Personally I like the idea of karma, I give it to people who post things that I enjoy, only gave negative ones to WW, and now I've stopped doing that because he's not worth the effort. All in all I think it's a good feature

The karma lets me know if someone actually read something I wrote. A lot of places I go, it feels like nobody read what I have put my heart and soul into.  :bouncegiggle: This way I know if someone has read it and either liked it or not liked it. I have been coming here a little less often lately and my karma hasn't moved.........Which I expect to happen, but now I'm here today so it should move maybe 1/2, at least.......maybe.......if.........you.......want.......Just kidding.  :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:

:bouncegiggle: Sorry, Andrew, I should have realized that was the reason I couldn't see my boo-hiss-applaud links. Must be all this African sun that is finally getting to me after almost 40 years.  :teddyr:

meh, I'm indifferent on the matter.  It's not like we win a prize if we have enough karma points.

Same here.

Oftentimes, I'll get karma points awarded to me and not have any idea why it was given or who gave it.

I used to purposely write threads here that I thought were guaranteed to get me a point or two and most times, they did.
Sometimes they didn't.
(remember, I was at -1 karma not 6 months ago)

But nowadays I don't try to do that anymore and I still seem to receive karma from out of nowhere for posts that I never thought were karma-worthy.

My thanks to you who gave me positive karma.

I am one of the ones who is guilty of giving karma without telling the person. I've received karma without knowing who or why also. Today I came here and oops, I'm missing a karma and would really like to know why. I don't feel I've down anyone any harm or put something to hurt someone to make them upset enough to remove a karma. Now I would like to know why.  :buggedout:

Well, ya ain't missing a point now. :teddyr:

Most likely it was some a$$hole who has their head shoved so far up their ass that they misinterpreted a kind or funny remark you made as being directed at them. If they would just pull their head back out of their ass, they could read the forum a lot more clearly, and perhaps even realize that the world is not about them.*

*I so hope this p**sed off whomever gave Poogie a negative karma.

Poogie

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.....You're a sweetheart, thank you Menard.
