LASERHAWK (1997) - A high school kid fakes a UFO sighting in his garage using a camera and a blue screen. He becomes a local celebrity until the government becomes interested and exposes his sighting as a fake. Later he actually has a real UFO sighting and nobody believes him. He finds out that the fake ship he created came from his subconscious because he is the spirit of a alien ship pilot who's mission is to save humans from the crustacean aliens who come to harvest the humans for food. Then he comes across others who have some linking knowledge to the alien agenda including a girl, a comic book writer named MK Ultra, and some guy who's in a psych ward straight-jacket who happens to be played by Mark Hamill. The story isn't bad and keeps your interest up till the end when they find the real ship from the goverment and defend the earth from the crustacean fleet. The space battle is some of the worst 90's special effects.

  (5 Out Of 10 Stars) Liked the whole small town UFO part of the film. Then it gets stupid.

Torgo

I had the same opinion of this flick when I saw it on TV a few years ago.

It's going pretty good and then the last 3rd of the movie just turned into a turdfest.
