I rented this film with no real expectations one way or the other and was surprised with a delightfully creepy haunted house film.  Yes, there are some predictable cliches here and there (after all, horror is perhaps the most predictable of all genres), but there are some new twists and the ghosts are just flat out CREEPY!  Not wanting to give away too much, but when the teenage hottie sister is carrying her baby brother through the house and he can see the ghost coming up behind them and reaches out to touch it . . . major chills.  What did you guys think of this one?

For the latest on the fifth installment in Don Coscarelli's Phantasm saga.

I thought the ghosts were creepy, but the story was very predictable. It reminded me of Cold Creek Manor, only with ghosts. I still might buy it when it gets to the cheapie bin.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I would agree

**SPOILER**

The lady crawling on the wall was crazy. and the spoon scene.

I enjoyed this flick, as well. Moreso than I initially thought I would, anyway.

I finally got around to watching this and it was pretty good and creepy ... making it worse is that I live in a old farm house in the booner surrounded by fields and woods and there is a couple of old barns. It had it's typical movie cliches but they didn't detract from the movie. It was all and all a pretty good film.

I have yet to get around to watching it.  I REALLY like the Pang brothers and feel that both of the "Eye" films are some of the best of Asian horror.  That being said, this film doesn't look like anything different from the PG-13 crap that we've gotten in the past few years.  The Grudge, Ring, Darkness, etc.  Oooohhhh a film about kids and ghosts!?  I've seen it all before.

But, like I said, I really like the directors based on their previous films.  It's that reason alone that will make me give this a chance.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.
