This could just as easily have been made in 1975.   The main character, who is a guy from some other cannibal movie, tries to display some harrison Ford type "charm"  and fails.   Making a dumb face and raising your eyebrows doesn't make you attractive or clever.  Thankfully for him, the script is convinced it does so he nails a couple of the films small handfull of hot girls.  Consistency is not the strong suit here.  the hero does some remarkably un heroic things.  the valley itself is both cursed and being exploited for it'as natural resources by capitalists.  who are somehow immune?  This is not "raiders of the lost ark".  It's more like "cannibal holocaust" if you turned it upside down and knocked most of the creativity and tension out of it.

I'd give most of the movie 2 stars and the scenes of the gore and nudity 4 stars, especially when the girls are wearing the native outfits.  so 3 stars.

This movie felt more like Troma's War than a cannibal movie.

I thought this one was hilarious, more of an adventure film than cannibal film, some really fine babes in it  Thumbup

I've seen a couple better movies since and have to admit I liked it more than I thought.
