A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Man, that really really sucks, his turn in Kill Bill Volume 1 was deserving of a Best Supporting Actor nomination IMO.  I thought he was really really good.

I'll have to watch all of my Chiba DVD's starting tonight in honor of such a legendary career.

EDIT: whoops, misread the article. He's just retiring from doing action films, not acting all together.   :teddyr:

Man, it DOES suck getting old. I'll miss your super-violent martial arts epics Sonny Chiba. I bow before thee.

Now I really have to get my paws on Karate Bullfighter, Karate Bearfighter, and Karate For Life!  :teddyr:

A few weeks ago they had Karate Bullfighter, Karate Bear Fighter, and Karate for Life! on IFC.  I watched parts of each but I had trouble sitting that day, so I didn't watch all of the movies combined just bits and pieces.
