this has been on my mind for awhile now and i just cant remeber.  this might be from a movie or an episode of a tv show like tales from the crept.  a womens car i think broke down and goes to this house to use the phone.  the family is weird i cant rember details but i distinctly remeber a man with no face i think was a son of the family.  Can anyone help me?

I think that you might be remembering "Twilight Zone:  The Movie"

http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0086491/

This segement is based off of a short story and an episode from the original series:

Some of what you mention also sounds similar to the "Thriller" episode "Parasite Mansion" which I highly recommend in any case.

That could be a better match.  I've never seen it, but what does not match up with "The Twilight Zone" is that the person without a face is a girl and I think she is only missing her mouth.

Definitely does sound like parts of "It's A Good Life". Everything mentioned here I'd recommend.
