He was considered 'too geeky' for the film Revenge of the Nerds, which he auditioned for. The producers wished to just hire regular looking actors and dress them up like nerds.


He auditioned for the role of "Screech" on Saved by the Bell.

He played a late teenager in "Laserblast".  He would have been like 30 when he auditioned for that role
