WHAT ABOUT BOB (1991) - This is a great little comedy starring Bill Murray, Richard Dryfuss, and Julie Haggarty. The comedy here is non offensive and extremely funny in my opinion. The reason I watched it again is that it was playing for free "On Demand" and I thought my daughter would get a kick out of it and she loved it. It was also great for me to revisit this film. Lots of laughs.

 We watched WHAT ABOUT BOB? when I was in rehab. A funny movie!

Some movies I can watch over and over...they're like comfort food for the soul. A few favorites...

  BRIDE of the MONSTER- This is in my top five Bela Lugosi movies of all time! Tor, the Octopus, and it's by Ed Wood!
  The BRAIN that WOULDN'T DIE- The perfect BAD movie? Close to it...!
   My FAVORITE Lugosi film...the RAVEN!!!! Lugosi get's to act real sadist and loony! A classic! And KArloff too!!!

Karma about What About Bob?  Funny movie, should pop the dvd in. 

As for me, recently I re-watched Cannibal! The Musical.  That's in my top 10 all time favorite movies.  I didn't watch it for like, 6 months, and I could still quote it. 

Also, Clerks.  Great stuff.

I've seen many of the Universal horror films from the 30's and 40's countless times: starting in childhood when they'd play on the local 'Shock Theatre' to today's DVD releases.

I've seen the Ray Harryhausen films almost as many times.

Even though I enjoy a good 'serious' film, the vast majority of the films I can watch over and over are horror, fantasy/sci-fi, and comedies.

RCMerchant, I got to see the first half of MARK OF THE VAMPIRE last night on TCM. Love what I saw of it. Hope to finish when ever it comes on again. Your new Avatar photo reminded me of Bela and the movie.

I saw it last night too! I wish it had given Lugosi more than one line of dialouge though! Carol Borland was terrific! I think she actually stole the show! Creepy and etheral...cool! 

My new avatar is a picture of an old Don Post mask from an old Famous Monsters advertisment....I thought a little color would be nice for a change.

That scene where she 'flies' across the cobweb-covered room on those huge wings is one of the most amzing shot in any horror movie!

We've mentioned before how those Don Post masks were the Holy Grail of FM readers. I actually saw one of the Creature From the Black Lagoon masks in an antique store about ten years ago and it was for sale for $200.00!

What About Bob? was actually filmed at Smith Mountain Lake in VA which is about a 45 minute drive from where I live.  Pretty cool.
