D-Man

You know, I was raised on Broadway music, even performed a few times in high school...but even I don't really get the appeal of Rocky Horror.  I watched it once, and just shrugged it off.

I definitely agree with the above opinion on Blair Witch.  I keep seeing it referenced on all these shows that talk about the scariest movies ever, and every time it makes me want to put my fist through the wall.  It's all hype, and little substance.

It's hard to say which movie I dislike the most.  However, I think Kill Bill stands out.  Somehow, Quentin Tarantino managed to put everything I hate about movies into one film.  I hated the characters, the dialogue, the plot, the fight scenes, the music, every - single -frame of Kill Bill.  I hated the anime segment especially.  I want to find anyone who worked on it and set them on fire.

I also really don't get what anyone sees in The Fifth Element.  It's just ... bad.

Though I can't say I actively dislike TITANIC, it is so dumb !   And my main beef is what Derf has well stated... she's on the Titanic, and needs to get into the backseat of a car to do the deed???   :bouncegiggle:

Really love the sweaty handprint on the car window...

I actively dislike CANNIBAL FEROX (aka MAKE THEM DIE SLOWLY) since I first (and last) saw it at a midnight movie.  Absolute gross-out garbage.  Don't like these too:
UNDER THE YUM YUM TREE
SLEEPAWAY CAMP

Robot Chicken made a somewhat obscure reference to Sleepaway Camp.  They did a bit where they spoiled the endings of several big movies, like Star Wars, etc.  Anyway, they cut to Sleepaway Camp and Angela's like, "I'm a boy."

In the audio commentary for the episode, Mark Hamill was talking and was like, "Is Sleepaway Camp a real movie?"  Seth Green was like, "Yeah, we figured we'd throw in a joke about an obscure movie that 3 people watching the show would know."
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell.

Borat - I watched 40 minutes of this film, and it's just so unfunny and awful.  There is nothing remotely funny about it at all.

I was hoping a suicide bomber would blow up Borat!  I did not last 10 min into the film.  I love dumb movies, but I do have my limitations.

And the fact that they made like, what 3?  And they're working on another one too.  Something like that.

Shadow

I doubt that there is a genre movie out there that I hate. I like 99.999% of anything with monsters, aliens, ghosts, killers, etc. What annoys me are films that are lauded by critics but feature characters that are totally unappealing. For example: The Devil Wears Prada. My wife owns this one and I was forced to watch it once. Now, Ann Hathaway is cute and looks great in this film, but every other character is an overbearing, self serving, self centered ASS. I wanted to leap through the TV and strangle these people.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I detested the movie BULLY.  Every single character was despicable, and no amount of nudity could redeem the overwhelming sense of  YUCK! that movie gave me.

i really really hate this movie!!!!yeah, the cinematography is amazing, but it's boring!and depressing!!!and it was already too long before the redux version came out!the extra scenes were just stupid, and had no bearing on the story,so why put them back?
unfortunately for me,this is a huge fave of my husband's and my best friend, also a guy..when they watch it,i'm out of the house, usually, but if i'm forced to watch it,even peripherally while on the puter,i take revenge by making them watch pumaman....

SLEEPAWAY CAMP was tedious.  The 'surprise' ending wasn't remotely believable and felt tact on, like mosquito netting on a lazy summer afternoon.  Besides SALOME'S LAST DANCE did this particular character gender twist a heck of a lot better IMO.  Speaking of which I never understood what people saw in THE CRYING GAME.  Meh.

I have that on DVD!  Never gotten around to watching it though.

How bad is it?

It is John Waters, so the movie goes out of its way to be disgusting and distasteful.  It pretty much succeeds.  From my experience, people either love it or hate it.

I only seen a small portion of the film and enjoyed what I saw so far.
