Northville Cemetery Massacre + Cop Killers

first, this is a biker movie not a horror movie, despite what the title implies.  Second, I don't really like biker movies .  I don't like westerns either, I just don't get it.  But this is the best biker movie I have seen.  It is very low budget but the bikers are actual bikers from some gang.  they even have a chaotic commentary track to themselves.  The music,  apparently done by Mike Nesmith from the Monkees, is excellent laid back rock n roll and biker ...folk.  The plot is solid and believable.  If you are a fan of shotgun blasts and subsequent blood gushing this is the movie for you, there are at least a dozen such occurences. Extras include mutliple commentary tracks, previews for other cool looking movies and some other stuff.

Figure I'd make this a two-fer as both movies are somewhat similar.  Another thumbs up for "Cop Killers" a very low budget, very amateurish more or less predictable but still (somehow) awesome hippie-sploitation road movie.  This is one of those low budget independent movies that gets better as it goes along.   Like the actors and director  got used to their roles after doing it a while.  Even the music improves.  For you really hard core bad movie fans,  at one point there is the most visible microphone I've ever seen which they make no attempt to cover up.  It's hilarious, one you'll want to pull everyone in the house in to see or even call people over.  Lots of violence and some nudity.
