Friend who is a gourmet chef threw a holiday party last night, & we watched the Mexican "Sata Claus", you know, the one with the dancing red Devil From Hell who torments him, and "Wild World of Batwoman" . . .
I'm going to leave the "Santa Claus" alone, because, as worthy of commentary as it is, it is soooo overshadowed by the unrelenting astonishing badness that is "Wild World of Batwoman" --
I've already posted a comment in the Reader Review section here, but seeing the age of some of the other posts, really think this one is worthy of a revival of commentary, if for no other reason than to inspire others to see it --
Bad surf music, relentless boogaloo '60's dancing . . . Dancing!  Dancing!! -- all the time & for no reason -- really atrocious costumes -- A bad guy named Rat Fink, who dresses like a refugee from a Dick Tracy serial -- Batwoman herself, who's probably in her late '50's, but is squeezed into a burlesque costume that she's constantly having to pull up at onscreen.  Speaking of onscreen weirdness:  A girl chained to the wall, helpless, takes the time to reach down with her chained hand and leisurely scratch her nose at one point.
Insert footage from "The Mole People" to no end/no reason, and you're starting to get something here -- I'm not going to duplcate the Reader Review, but has anyone else out there seen this thing & please talk about your favorite scenes, so others may be assimilated . ..

. . . and the Rules!  The Rules!!
Much screen time is taken up & wasted up (but tis all waste, no?) with the Batgirls reading & reciting and quoting this COMPLETELY POINTLESS Code of Rules for The Batgirls, that is as incessant as it is dumb --
You can't believe anyone thought this was something worth filming . . .
It's the Judean People's Front vs. The People's Front of Judea . . .

So many infuriating scenes... I'd have to say the politically incorrect seance, where Batwoman's psychic lines get crossed and she winds up speaking to a Chinese spirit, stands out.

Peter/Denny's summary was accurate, but I actually thought this was torture to watch.  So much weird badness, but it wasn't as entertaining as I'd hoped, maybe because it's played as bad comedy rather than straight.  Still, it's worth a watch---in the same way MANOS is.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

The only way to watch the "Wild World of Batwoman" is to watch the MST3K version. At least then it's somewhat watchable.
