I know hollywood gets into "cycles" from time to time, you know vampire flicks, haunted house,superhero/comic book movies,dog movies, etc,,

I have no problems with this but,

Man, I should would like to see a good old fashioned biker gang or moonshine running movie come out

especially with no cgi effects

then again, as a wise man once said;

it's not what you want, it's what the consumer wants

When I had this film on VHS as a toddler, I would rewind and play this sequence over and over and over and over and over and over and over....From what I've been told from the people that had to suffer for that, I had a 'thing' for chase scenes (I could pretty much list off all the ten chase sequences in film history I was obsessed with my entire childhood). Yes, I was an abnormal child.

So true. I could never get into The Evil Dead Musical. It was awful. What's next, A Serbian Film: The Musical?
