My 3 year old brilliantly put his sandwich down next to my 6 month year old.  I look over to see the 6 month year old chowing down.  I'm so god*mned p*ssed off right now.  We tell the 3 year old at least 20 times a day to get away from him for these reasons.

As long as he doesn't give french fries to the cat...

If chocolate is poisonous to canines, what would happen if you gave it to a person who's about to turn into a werewolf?

Nothing. The werewolf will say "thank you".

But you better kick him in the nards right after that, he might try to eat you.

I bought a bottle opener ring.  It's so cool!  Too bad I don't drink...

You still could come across a place that sells Coca-Cola in those classic glass bottles (even though they're twist off nowadays).

Talking to my dad on the phone last night.  He tells me there's some action movie that I really should watch.  Then he proceeds to tell me the entire plot, including every detail of the ending.  Then he once again tells me I should watch it.

After watching Urban Legend, I feel the urge to, like before, spend the whole day reading articles on snopes.com

Another board I am on has an 'ignore' function.  You can mark certain posters to be ignored, and their posts become invisible to you.  You see that they have replied, but the content does not show, unless quoted.  I am very surprised that I am rather enjoying the ignore function: it has reduced my aggravation considerably and makes for a more pleasant visit.

The same board also has the capability of setting certain posters (the problem cases) so their posts do not show to anyone at all (at the mod's discretion) yet leaves them unaware: they go happily posting away, and get no responses.  They can see their own replies but no-one else does.  Of course they must clue in eventually, but I find the thought of them having their tantrums, unheard, rather satisfying even if it does not last.

I'm so evil.  :bluesad:

I read that back in college.  Very clever book, actually.

I got my new laptop last night.  But when I tried to do a dual-boot with Windows XP (that came with it) and Ubuntu 9.10, it got all screwed up.  Everytime I boot into Ubuntu, the brightness keeps going up and down, and the little bar for changing brightness keeps coming up.

Sometimes, I just hate technology.

rev powell-  in the chapter on prostitutes he compares people who complain about decency and the like to people compaining about men buying pie and milk in a painting he saw.  "there's no league against pie and milk"

to prove him wrong I have formed such a league
