When my mom and I converse and really get going we can talk faster than Rory and Lorelai ever did, including season three. No one can out-talk a couple of Irish chicks who've built up forward momentum. Today at lunch we had a good head of steam and packed three hours worth of conversation into thirty minutes. It was dizzying!

It's Thursday...about midnight...I'm the only user on board....kinda like walking into town after ( or during) a huge blizzard on a Sunday morning...it's all very peaceful and quite....covered in a blanket of snow. I can't sleep. Even though I'm real tired.

I find it disturbing that as kids, my parents used to tell us the story/legend of Black Peter every holiday season...
