So why is it people get upset when a ballplayer makes $20 million a year, but not when a movie star makes $20 m/ film.  At least a baseball player plays 162 games a year and can have some good games to make up for a bad one, but Tom Cruise makes 1 movie every couple of years and if he sucks in it, it is a one shot deal, no attempt to make a better one tomorrow.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

If matching is so important, why don't they sell shirts and pants and socks and ties all together in one package at a discount?

If farts came out of another exit, would they be as funny or smelly for that matter?

They do, those are called burps.  :)

A belch is just a fart pulled up by the roots!

Now for  something totally different.

It's not the size of the wand that puts the rabbit in the hat, it's the skill of the magician.  (Guess the subtext)

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I wonder at what point will gas prices become too high for people to do as much travelling as before? If that point is reached, does it mean local Mom and Pop stores will come back in fashion?

I still have my Mom & Pop, no need to shop for new ones.

It's Tuesday 8th January 2008.
It is 14h17 here, Central African Time.
I have a poster of "Hot Fuzz" behind me on my office wall.
Why did it choose to fall on my head two minutes ago?

I got such a fright, my teeth landed on the keyboard.  :buggedout:

I just listened to that song "I just died in your arms tonight".  If he really DID die in the person's arm how could he be alive to be singing about it?

Since Cheeze has helped me find an emulator to play my TurboGrafix Godzilla import disc on,  I'm now wondering what the frig I did with that PC adapter for my PS2 controller... Also, am I the only one who thinks that Ronnie James Dio and Meg Mucklebones are the same person?

The same way the narrator in Marty Robbins' "El Paso" song did.

Maybe if you stare at the guy he'll at stammer out an "I - I got better." (Monty Python reference)

Either that or zombies are slowly taking over the recording industry.

Will mass comsumption really replace the dedicated buyer who takes the time to study and make qualified purchases? Seems some want it that way...everybody in and out the door like a production line.......

If cannibalism was a socially accepted practice, how different do you think the meat section of the local supermarket would be?

It would certainly give new meaning to the expressions "getting a piece of ass" or "that tastes like ass!"

I listened to a lecture by Marian von Trapp, of "Sound of Music" fame, and somewhere in her travels, she came across a tribe of canninbals, and she asked them this question: "What is the choicest part of the human body." It is not the ass or buttocks.
They're too tough. The most delectable parts of the human body are the cheeks, not the butt cheeks, and the palms of the hands.
