It was just a random conversation she stuck up with me because she thought I was sad.
The more we talked the more, we liked each other.
And it went from there.


So random conversations that people start when they think you're sad can lead to good things. 
And then horrific heartache when she leaves.*

I know this girl just from twitter, of all places. we are both into the band Guided by voices. She gave me her phone number then proceeded to call me just about every day, essentially stalking me. She finally kinda wore me down and the minute she did she took up with some guy near her and then proceeded to be completely dishonest about it with me. I think we are now headed in very different directions and this is a good thing.

Yeah.. but there's still Valentine's day..
But if I'm not too indiscrete: Did you meet her at a bar? A concert? A party?
I'm just asking, because I feel like I have to move on, but the above mentioned places are the only places I think I can go to... I hate clubs, the music they play, and the kind of people they attract...
So I'm kinda lost here...

I totaly agree with you about the type of people they attract...

Try libraries to meet a girl. Some say supermarkets but I don't know about that...

I shouldn't envy them.. I really shouldn't.  They're low class trash, going nowhere in life, they'll probably end up in a bad way, and yet, at least for this moment, they've got so many things I don't: each other for starters, however long that might last.
