I drove by a store the other day that had a sign out front that was selling some kind of produce for .99 cents a pound.  IOW, less than one cent a pound by decimal point. I had all but to do to avoid stopping by and giving them a few pennies for what they were selling.

In a strange way, when I compare the works of Ed Wood against that movie they made about him, it almost seams like Tim Burton is apologizing for the man...

I absolutely detest a fair fight. I'm too old, too smart, and too good looking to fight fair. I will, but only as a last resort. When a fight is about to occur and there no real reason for it other than pride and ego, I will tactically advance to the rear if things aren't to my advantage. I will stand up for myself and others, and endure a fair fight, or even a disadvantaged fight, IF there's a reason for the fight. Fortunately, I'm rather good at tilting the odds in my favor to begin with. Today I got into a non-fight with some idiot, for reasons that are unknown to me. He was younger, bigger, and in better shape than me, but the ol' grab-squeeze-twist-pull pretty much ended the whole thing before it got started. I'm too old for that s**t.

I just ate a fortune cookie that had 4 fortunes inside of it. They all state "A carrot a day, may keep cancer away." This is awesome. In a good way.

Up at 2 AM with my daughter, had to take her to the ER for croup...got about one hour of sleep after getting home with her.  Yet, I don't feel exhausted as I should.  I'm expecting  a crash by midafternoon though.

Remember at the start of Jaws when that chick goes swimming and get dragged under the water, and then all you hear is that sound from the metal buoy? There's a church bell I can hear that sounds just like that, it's creepy...
