Whirlwind weekend . . . . drove up to Springdale, AR and back for an artifact show. Got in at 7 PM, had to carry all my cases of rocks in, my upstairs computer got fried by a thunderstorm, and my wife is still coughing her head off. And up at 5:30 to go stamp out ignorance!

Gonna be a long week . . . .

I'm hoping that NO ONE goes to see The Phantom Menace in 3D just on general principle, but who am I kidding? Legions of moron fanboys will go see it, adding several more million into GL's pockets.

Tuesday was definitely better than Monday.

I was correcting one of my students who was unusually hyper today, and asked him
"David, what's wrong with you?"
Without missing a beat, he replied: "Well, I kill people and I eat hands. That's two things!"
I bout fell of my chair laughing.

Next week I get to go to the doctor for my annual checkup. This includes the "You lie across the table and I'll get my finger all greased up." part.

On Valentine's Day.

Wonder if he'll at least give me a box of chocolates?

I get to start that next year. My doctor's PA is kinda cute so I may not mind.
