I started just watching Night of the Creeps and there's this scene where a few aliens are chasing one of their own and shooting at him, and like always missing. It got me thinking how come in EVERY movie, when someone is being chased and shot at, he never gets shot, like the chasers are shooting at stuff around their target. How come all antagonists in movies are bad at shooting :P

Yeah, seriously. Ever notice the clone troopers in the Star Wars prequels seldom missed a shot, and the storm troopers in the original trilogy couldn't a target the size of a wookie's backside?

I remember Obi-Wan Kenobi at the beginning of Episode IV saying "Only Imperial Storm troopers fire with that kind of accuracy and precision."  Then the storm troopers did not hit the broad side of a barn for the rest of the movie!

Is this a joke? What the hell... what is wrong with people?

If Trayvon Martin had beaten Zimmermann to death, the story never would have made the national news.
If he had been gunned down by another black youth, it never would have made the national news.
But since an African-American youth was gunned down by a "White Hispanic," whatever that is, the whole country can talk about nothing else.


Whatever.  So how about that Prince George!

The Zimmerman juror in the headlines right now is talking out of both sides of her mouth.

On one hand she is widely quoted as saying George Zimmerman "got away with murder" but at the same time she is (less widely) quoted as saying, "The facts did not support a verdict of guilty." OK, how can facts not support someone being a murderer and yet that person got away with murder? Either facts show George Zimmerman to be a murderer or they do not.

Thankfully there were five other jurors who seemed to be able to think more clearly when presented with evidence.
