Whatever happened to the Judds

The mom got sick, or something, They broke up, or something, their solo careers flopped, or something, and they retired, or something.

So I was purging my facebook likes the other day and noticed that facebook sneaked the Point Break remake into my likes (I only ever liked the original). Usually when you unlike something it disappears from your list, so I immediately unliked the remake. To my surprise it was still there, however, the "like" option was gone but the "follow" option was still there. This already p**sed me off because the movie shouldn't have been there to begin with because I never put it in my likes. So I go to the official Point Break remake facebook page and block them. Guess what, it is still there in my likes. Is this some new kind of forced advertisement strategy by facebook? If so they can drop dead and eat s**t.
Since facebook won't let me remove the Point Break remake from my likes I went into my settings and made the remake unseen for others from my likes. Small victory for me but still annoying because I can still see it.

What "about" Naomi?

It's a classic non sequitur line from "The Electric Company" series from the 70s. I still throw it into conversations.

Here's the history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_of_Chair

Here is the first episode of "Love of Chair":

! No longer available

By the way, the boy is Skip Hinnant, probably better known to people on this forum as the voice of Fritz the Cat from both Fritz the Cat films.

And, to make this a valid post in this thread:

Where did I put those 200 books of Green Stamps?
I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago.

As a former resident of Nashville I feel I can give a bit more info:

Momma Naomi got the hepatitis and retired from singing - and immediately opened a restaurant. For some reason or other people didn't flock to eat at a place owned by a person who famously had hepatitis so it lasted only a few months.

Wynonna used to eat (and drink, mainly drink) at a restaurant managed by my roommate.  Whenever Wynonna would get stinkin' drunk at the restaurant she would suddenly decide my roommate was her best friend in the whole wide world and insist he sit and visit with her.

Sometimes when she was drunk there and he wasn't working she'd call the house. I remember answering the phone occasionally around two in the morning and getting to talk to a very drunk Judd.

Why has it always gotta be a "Dear John" letter? Why not a "Dear Paul", "Dear George" or "Dear Ringo" letter?

What about the letter Pete got? You know that Had to be upsetting.
