I thought our youngest goat had died - he was sickly yesterday, and I couldn't find him for most of the day.
But this evening he turned up and is looking a good bit better!

Two minutes of silence sounds like a humble token in memory of those who died 100 years ago today on the first day of the Battle of the Somme. A horrific disaster, 60,000 British casualties on a single day. To put that figure in perspective, the US lost about 58,000 personnel in ten years of the Vietnam War.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

So months back I had a phone conversation with one of my nephews.  He was talking about a cartoon series DVD received for Christmas.  Since we were one the subject, I asked if he ever watched The Amazing World of Gumball, a show I catch on occasion and find very amusing.  He declared that show was, "stupid".  Okay, fine, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

BTW the show he requested on DVD?  Teen Titans Go.

Our little goat didn't make it after all. Very disappointed.

Just noticed that the "Caps Lock" key on my keyboard isn't in all caps. Seems like they didn't think it through.

Been re-lisining to my comedy CD's over the long weekend.

Sadly, Jim Gaffigan turns out to be a comedian you only need to buy one CD of.  I like Jim Gaffigan.  I think he can be very funny AT TIMES.  But he is one of those comedians that has only a few subjects he talks about and rarely strays that far from them.  A good 75% of all his material is either devoted to food or family life.

My favorite is still Eddie Izzard.  He's got a wide variety of topics,  great delivery, and a style that I find really humerus.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

So I wrote a good positive review of a book, and the author posted a complimentary review of my review on his Facebook post. So I thanked him in a private message. I feel like I'm stuck in a positive reinforcement loop!
