Sometimes some people just make the world suck.

I'd like to tell them to "go elsewhere"!

(If it does not injure your delicate sensibilities too much Trevor: would that be "gaan elders"?)

The Afrikaans speaking peeps of the world - Mom, me and a few million others - have quite a few phrases to tell people where to get off and hopefully fall down when they do get off.

"Gaan elders" would work though.

I am forced embracing my thing with bdsm. I either don't want to hit a character with a pan or I want to hit a character with a pan in the face.
yeah no.

Two otherwise not very offensive words that gross me out: saliva, and pheromones.

Ditto on saliva.

Hey, since we got you on the subject, can you verify that all women really hate the word "moist"?  Heard a comedian say that once and all the female in the audience seem to agree on their general dislike of that word.

I guess now I think of it "moist" sounds slightly unmelodious, phonetically, but the concept itself isn't bad. There was an entire How I Met Your Mother about Lily being disgusted by the word moist, so Barney did a one-man play where he said "moist" over and over for something like two hours.

Don't be outraged by a word, be ashamed of the concept.

Wizard of Oz is one of those works of fiction where I think I've liked the strange adaptations and re-imaginings more than the original source material.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Ever notice that about 90 percent of the time when someone is playing bagpipes in a movie they're playing Amazing Grace?  It's like, that's only song they could get the license for or something.

Now, I'm sure there's exceptions, but I can't think of any off-hand.

Got the Billy Idol song "Eyes without a face" stuck in my head. Which then gives me the movie plaing in my mind.

My random thought is I remember the evening when I was about four and a half and a local TV station quit being serious for one night played this funny video ("....it was a bus full of nuns holding babies....") after its news department won a regional Emmy.

BTW, the newscaster in the grey suit near the end was Al Schottelkoette, a legendary anchor for about thirty years, before he was finally knocked out of the number one ratings spot by Nick Clooney, whose son George could have also made it big, if he'd stayed around town.

Ah, yes, the nuns were blind, and the babies were refugees....

Only just recently dawned on me how cut-throat the arts are, & It's had me a bit discouraged.
