What makes you angry?

Thank you all for the kind words. Normally, I don't throw stuff like this around the Net, but I can only assume that I was  trying to force myself to feel something other than guilt. I really only feel a terrible, all encompassing feeling that I may have harmed my wife through the neglect and greed of others. I KNOW it isn't my fault, but it still is.

Oddly, I haven't hit the anger stage yet. Possibly when the test results come in, I'll have the chance to supernova, but I can't really control that. I just can't get the faces of the people (especially the kids) at the lab out of my mind. There really is no way to express what I'm feeling right now, because I really don't know IF I'm feeling (if that makes any sense?) right now.

After re-reading this, it's obvious that I internalize things! I think this weekend I'll do some off-roading in the desert, maybe do some shooting, hike with my dog. That always puts my head straight. I haven't heard from the lab yet, so it looks like another 5 days to go, give or take.

Thanks again for your support.

Eyesore, I just read this and am now as angry as I've ever been.  :hatred:

It is crazy for people like this to do what they did: have they forgotten their Hippocratic Oath that begins "First do no harm" or what?

You and your family are in my thoughts: warm greetings and warm wishes from South Africa, be strong, we are with you.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Eyesore

First off, thank you everyone for your support. I got my test results tonight, and I was negative for all 3 diseases! Right now my muscles are making funny noises as I'm beginning to relax. I'm beyond happy, as a matter of fact, I think I'm going to slip into a much needed coma 'til 4:30 a.m., then back to work with renewed focus.

Thanks again, and I'll close this portion of my hijacking of this thread with some lines from the only song that I've ever called "My Song": "Things The Grandchildren Should Know", by Eels.

"So in the end i'd like to say
That i'm a very thankful man
I tried to make the most of my situations
And enjoy what i had
I knew true love and i knew passion
And the difference between the two
And i had some regrets
But if i had to do it all again
Well, it's something i'd like to do"

Trevor

What makes me angry No, your post saying that you're clear made me smile with quite a bit of relief so all I can add is     and definitely  :teddyr:

Good wishes!

That's excellent Eyesore, I couldn't be happier for you, unless you won the lottery right after you got these results.

I had to go take an HIV and Hepatitis B&C test yesterday because of this http://www.lvrj.com/news/16067972.html yesterday. Knowing that I may have infected my wife...well, I don't have any words right now.

Thats dumb. I mean, im not saying YOU'RE dumb, I'm just saying that re-using needles is dumb and should be , i dunno, I'm at a loss of words. I hope you turn out all right, man.

If you go to the ABC news message board for this story, people overwhelmingly support the bus driver.
What's your take on this?

I dont get it. If the dumb b!Tc# didnt want to go to school, why didnt the driver let her get off? Then she wouldnt have to deal with her.

The reason why the driver wouldn't let her off was because as soon as a kid gets on that bus, it's the driver's responsibility.  That's why they can't let kids from other buses get on because if something happens there is a whole "hooplah" as my driver says.

Probably because there weren't so many sick freaks running around, that ALSO makes me angry.

Well said Darksider, 'Time murderers' are probably my pet hate. Sometimes I think that they suffer from a subconscious laziness that makes them attempt to do everything they can to delay having to do anything useful. Bus passengers are especially guilty of this in my experience!

That's wonderful news, Eyesore.  At last you can breathe easy.  Go out and have a beer or six to celebrate your good fortune!
