Does anyone know of any legit sites to watch free movies online? Yes I have the non-legit ones but usually the quality is CRAPPY. Except Quicksilverscreen, for the most part.

Someone recommended Hulu.com and at first i was like "wow, there are hardly ANY movies here". Then as i started browsing through I realized that most of these movies were b-movies. They stick some annoying commercials in them so they can be free but at least they are good quality. It is streaming video so no downloading. But check them out - b-movies!

Anyone know of any others? i'm really looking for high quality. I don't want to watch bootlegs where people are screaming and standing up and there are subtitles.

I'm not sure if there are other legal sites out there like hulu.

Hey Susan, nice to see you posting again.  Other than clips on YouTube, I rarely watch movies online, so I'm afraid I'm not much help.

Were ya been Suzy Q?

Have you tried ...

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/movies.php
http://www.movieflix.com/ Some free, some require a paid membership.

I use Netflix, for as little as $8.99/mo you can stream all you want they have a fairly decent B-Movie collection on line and over 10,000 movies currently streaming, more are added all the time. Granted that's not free, but it's fairly cheap.

Welcome back Miss Q, where ya been? I used to use bijouflix.com, but I think they're solely in the DVD sales business now. There was another that had a decent selection of free b-movies combined with more mainstream stuff you could pay for, but damned if I can remember. Have you tried freemoviesonline.com yet?

After checking out both, it looks like Cheeze's suggestions are both good choices.

Nice to be back. I kinda fell away from this site, obviously, as well as other places. I was going through a funk the past few months with some changes at work, stress and a brief medical scare.  But now i've been put on a guilt trip about my sadly neglected myspace page, which I spent time this weekend putting in a new layout (death proof theme vs pulp fiction) but doing the html can be a pain so I just worked from the skeleton i already had.

I'm cheap, I won't pay if i know there are free movies out there to be had. That's why I also rent from my local library..lol Lots of b-movies. Funny how when movies are free they are always B.

Thanks for the links!

FearNet.com usually has from free movies for viewing. The selection varies usually from week to week. some good; some bad. A few months ago I did catch 976-EVIL on there. Right now there is Paper House (which really freaked me as a kid), Fright Night, and a few others. They change up frequently so if you don't see something you like, check back again in a week or two.

ps nice to see you back

The company that we preserve films for has a plan to put these on their website so that the public can stream them for free. They haven't gotten it up 'n running yet, but their site is www.mnetcorporate.co.za.

Check you cable system.  Mine has on demand service, and they give away lots of free movies from Turner Classic Movies, Sundance Channel and FearNet.  This month I've seen NIGHT OF THE HUNTER, THE BLOB (1988) and ESACPE FROM NEW YORK, among others.  The free movies were a real pleasant surprise, they change frequently, and now they probably make up between a third to a half of all movies I watch.  We didn't have this option in Vegas, but it's here in Louisville.  I imagine it will become standard on cable systems across the country soon.  Much better than a website; I can't watch movies on the computer.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

On NetFlix, granted that cost money but for as little as $8.99/mo you can stream movies and with a Roku box ($99) you can stream them directly to your TV.
